When a 250ft square apt is $6000/mo. In Sanfrancisco and you have to wade over seas of used needles, thugs, and homeless, i wouldn’t want to leave that office past sunset anyways.

I know people who did that working a various silicon valley jobs over the years... worked at google and lived in a van or a box truck in the parking lot.... fully retired now living the good life. If I coulda done it, I would have. I was married with kids already though, no way I'd put my whole family through that.
