Lucifer and Ahriman (Satan) are two extreme positions in a state of imbalance in the relationship of Man with the Universe. Christ (Apollo) is the point of perfect balance - the realization of the perfect identity of Man and the Cosmos - the real self is everything that there was, there is and ever will be - I and the Father are One. Atman is Brahman.
Lucifer represents a shift toward the intellectual side, the complete detachment from the material environment - a man stuck in his head. Ahriman (Satan) represents the opposite tendency - a Man enslaved by his lowly passions, spirit trapped in matter.
There are pointers to these universal aspects of existence. Venus is Lucifer. Saturn is Satan. The chemical element Phosphorus is a pointer to Lucifer (light bringer), while Sulfur is a pointer to Satan. Think of Organic Chemistry -> the 4 elements C, O, H, N plus S and P.
In terms of religions - New Age and Freemasonry are Luciferic, Judaism and Islam are Ahrimanic. Think of the black cube.

Think also of Chakras - Christ lives in the Heart Chakra (Unstruck - makes a sound without being struck). Think of the rose window in the Gothic cathedrals.
