Yeah it is. Makes me think of TikTok and ADHD, if you look up the subject you will find plenty of doctors complaining about people coming in and asking for adhd meds which happens to coincide with many influencers on tiktok claiming they have adhd. The power of suggestion.
But with that being said, I certainly have noticed an increase in one part of what they call autism. And that is the lack of ability to socialize and empathize correctly. Much like that show atypical.
Whether its genetic, environmental, or even just a side effect of mainstream society. I couldnt say for sure.
I don't doubt there is more retardness in kids on a genetic basis these days considering the lifestyle deterioration of people turned parents. Along fluoride, shitfood, etc.
But then again there is also the standard plot to increase shitchemicals °meds° demand by propping down the mental illness entry barrier.
Schizophrenia symptoms in teenagers are similar to those in adults, but the condition may be more difficult to recognize. This may be in part because some of the early symptoms of schizophrenia in teenagers are common for typical development during teen years, such as:
Withdrawal from friends and family
A drop in performance at school
Trouble sleeping
Irritability or depressed mood
Lack of motivation
Such questions itself could become a reason of authistic behaviour. :) Trying to answer such question some person could begin to pay significant attention on things that people do unconsciously, and it will look autistic from aside. It's like ask "what exact muscles you use when walking", "how you swallow food" or "what nerve signals make you breathe". When you ask your buddy such question, it is funny to observe how he/she become slow, weird and absent-minded. It's funny and safe to do it for fun, but I could easily imagine how things definitely could go wrong if such question from some medical entity will be posed as something important and health-critical. Some could just fall to permannent control or analysis of unconcious body things and it will look absolutely weird with all consequences.
i think "autistic" is thrown away WAY too easy these days.

We're anatomically designed to walk on the balls of our feet. Compare to all other animals with legs.
I guess if they're confused as to what having a penis means, it only makes sense they're confused about other anatomy.
