I've seen very high def images of the memorial on my computer, so I don't have to see them in person. I get it.

But importantly, they do it in a clockwise fashion (at least in the Northern Hemisphere where India is). They consider anti-clockwise circumambulation to have inauspicious/ineffective/negative effects compared to doing it clockwise (with possibly some rare exceptions).
Interestlngly, Muslims circumambulate in an anti-clockwise direction (same hemisphere).
Was the circumambulation you saw at the memorial in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction (when viewed from the top)?
