Produce (particularly garlic & onions) has been absolute trash at the grocery store for about the last month or so- and it's a bougie grocery store. Farmers market quality has still been solid.
Buy some vegetables and fruit and it starts going bad within a few days.
I expect that out of a shitty independent mom and pop trying to make a few bucks. But its bullshit for major chains to charge you full price for nearly expired produce.

Bought some tostitos the other day. Started eating with salsa. Tasted stale. Looked at the date....February 2021....tossed them.
Take away. Putting rotated, out of date back on the shelves.
Bought a 2# bag of popcorn, that way my snack is fresh.
Milk, even organic, seems to go bad way faster.
