After seeing someone in an old photo wearing a shirt that said stuff about universal knowledge, I went down a rabbit hole and bought the urantia book on eBay. Will check it out someday, but it is very dense.

So two hot air balloons and a laser is all you need to demonstrate this.
I didn't ask for all that nonsense. What I said was:
Just send two up. If the earth is flat, you can show that by having one shine a laser at the other one. This experiment is cheap and repeatable.
If you cannot do that one simple thing, then the world is not flat.
Then why has nobody ever been able to do this? If this is "all over the Internet," show me one such report of being able to shine a laser between two places in the sky that are far apart.
So you have no explanation as to how two hot air balloons can't see each other with a telescope on a flat earth. I guess you're wrong about that.
