Top reason is to erase the medical privacy or bodily autonomy afforded by roe vs wade. Another reason is to stir up democrat support and make the left forget how dems are dismantling our country. Also this may cause enough outrage they can try to stack the Supreme court or otherwise alter it.

Agreed. I think this may be the signal to cheat the midterms. This would be the one thing they could use to steal oxygen from the shit economy/historic inflation, open borders, corruption, censorship, dementia, foreign failures, kid grooming/sniffing, covid lies and voter fraud of 2020.

Pretty much. The spiel will simply change from "we won because of mail-in ballots" to "we won because of objections to overturning Roe v. Wade". All it takes is for the Biden administration to promise drafting a federal suspension on abortion bans or some such.

Yes, because the Origionalist and conservative legal movement started in response to this decision has been pushing for this since 1973.

It's the culmination of a long, long effort and movement. It's not bullshit.

The Federalist Society has to give the people a payoff for supporting their Origionalism racket, because Common Good Conservatism is a competing ideology is ascendant.

I was promised overturning Roe would cause a civil war. These snowflakes had better not disappoint: I've got a lot of repressed Fuck You that needs release.

It wipes out what's left of medical privacy and floods yet more lifetime welfare recipients I to the mix

This actually has a legal basis. The election lawsuits were largely nonsense.

I remember seeing some lawsuits that had affidavits written in fucking crayon.

No one would write an affidavit in crayon unless the purpose was to discredit the lawsuit.

Agreed. To that end, no lawyer would include a crayon-written affidavit in a credible lawsuit.

Just like that NY case against Trump, the one that just disbanded the grand jury with no indictments. You saw that one and said, though, with your deep legal experience, and said, "now this looks serious".
