Haha, this is the same question on reddit. Hard to say for sure but there has been much talk about a new bird flu, they seem to be trying but I wonder if we are too burned out on pandemics right now. Other options include a big terrorist attack, we haven't had a big false flag in a while, or we could more havana syndrome, maybe a big hurricane or earthquake, someone big could get assassinated and blame that on right wingers, etc. There has been the start of a crack down on 'patriots' types lately, a friend of mine got visited by the FBI due to some kind of midrange patriot talk. That may be what they want to do next and they may need some kind of trigger to try to justify more of it.
The Western Neo-Imperialists knew it was over the moment they received word of the first missile launch. Everything they did was based on warmongering and threats other psychological warfare, and in no way on any sort of armed confrontation whatsoever.
