I listen to farm reports and we stopped letting them buy futures contracts about mid harvest last fall. They have been aggressive futures purchasing from Brazil, but even they reduced available contracts to China. China STILL does not have enough food reserves. This could turn into a war of attrition

What are people's suggestions for water if you don't have space to store jugs? I have some of those emergency filter straws that filter out like swamp water, I live somewhat near a lake, I figured I'd do a trip over there daily to pick up rations and filter it at home through those straws. What other recommendations do people have?

Get a water bob, buy water bottle cases at the store, learn to use less. Having a way to cook and filter water, which means a fuel/fire source.
I have that straw too, apparently they arent great. Get a metal camping kit with a cup or pot and boil water. Flint and magnessium and make fire. (ESSENTIAL for all packs people!)
