since most of canada's cities are sitting right next to the border with the US I can only imagine a heck of a lot of Canadian troop are sitting "right" next to the US border.
like those Russian bases are "right" next the Ukraine as in dozens of miles away from the border

We have like 4,000+ employees on 5 continents. It’s gonna put us all behind... like... it doesn’t make sense. They always ask if anybody wants to work on holidays, for time and a half—but those that were proactive were denied with “it’s a paid day off.”
And they were like “yeah so was Christmas but I worked and I got time and a half, is that not available?”
“No, really, just relax and take the day off.”
