Truckers block the Ambassador Bridge connecting Canada (Windsor) and the United States (Detroit). The bridge is the busiest international crossing in North America. More than 25% of trade between the United States and Canada passes through this border. (twitter.com)

Unpopular opinion; Its not too far fetched to believe some of these convoys blocking large trade corridors are fronts under he guise of true Freedom Fronts to further weaken the dollar.

They also have guns and lots of them. Don’t forget that.

u/Dorktron4Runner is yet another coward who always wants to stay home safe and sound behind a keyboard and a pseudonym while other people commit acts of violence. Don't listen to Internet fools.

Give us verifiable information as to your identity and proof that you have gone out to fight people with guns.

I don't think that idea can work. The optimal pricing strategy is one that maximizes profit. A politically-motivated pricing model will give your competition an advantage. The ones paying will vote against you with their money.

It seems that a large portion of the protestors have been effectively put out of business anyway.

I thought the idea behind the protests was that the shipping lanes should remain open and functional. I wonder if the ones doing the actual blocking aren't really agents provocateur.

To clarify, could it be that the blockage is simply due to too many trucks trying to get to the protest rather than (as the news media implies) a deliberate attempt to close the bridge. Even if someone (it could actually be a lone individual) is trying to do this, could that person actually be working on behalf of the Candian government?

further to it, who are the ones leading these groups? where are there demands of these ones? if not, why not? who else has recognized them? if any

No, if they aren't sufficiently united, there will still be drivers out there willing to work for a market price as opposed to the double rate.
