Not able to send Bitchute links through text messages on Samsung??? This shit is wild.
posted 3 years ago by SpicyCoof 3 years ago by SpicyCoof +27 / -0

Sending shit to my brother, texted hello. He got it, sent a bitchute link right after and nothing. Vice versa for both. Are they actively not sending them????

ADL is really mad that BC exisists. If you google Bitchute, you get an ADL warning before you get to the website.

Are you using SMS or MMS? Because I don't think it is Samsung blocking anything.

If you are using SMS then Samsung is in trouble due to US law

MMS is unregulated and as such some woke phone companies are blocking messages/links. Tmobile it most known for doing that.

I think I read somewhere that all the encrypted apps are honeypots(cases of people getting busted on each one) And a hacker youtuber said it puts a target on your back instead of blending in.

I wanted to get my friend to use a digital enigma machine but its a hassle. Ijusttalkfastnow.

You can put country restrictions on bitchute videos.

None in my collection have this.

See if you can see mine.

Something I found.

If google is your default search it will take a valid URL and treat it like a search.

It comes back as a google search result instead of the URL.

I use metacrawler as my default search on Firefox (desktop)

You will need the plugin --- Add custom search engine

You will need a default search string ---- https://www.metacrawler.com/serp?q=%s

Also, with Firefox preferences --- Add search bar in toolbar

This leaves the other bar just for URLs.

TLDR: having google as your default search can jack with you.

Besides changing your search (personally, I use a searx instance - kiwi on your phone lets you change your default, brave lets you on your desktop), I have found that my ISP is intercepting my "bad" URLs and sending me to their "search."

I use a router that I run DD-WRT on because I need control to push some computers through a VPN and others have free access (work laptop, primarily, that is on the work VPN and my gaming PC so that Steam doesn't kill my account). I am able to block the crap my ISP, Cox, is forcing on users by setting my DNSMasq options to block the IPs they are using to re-direct: bogus-nxdomain=68.105.28.11 bogus-nxdomain=68.105.28.12 bogus-nxdomain=68.105.28.45 bogus-nxdomain=68.105.28.46 bogus-nxdomain=92.242.140.2

I realize your average user doesn't have this choice. If we pay for internet access, we pay for internet access. We are not paying for censorship, but there it is.

no ".win" domain goes through to apple or tmobile (not sure which one is censoring)

doesn't matter if it doesn't exist, it wont send anything with .win

Ran into this problem with Mc’D’s free internet(AT&T network) with a browser bookmark in iOS. Was able to use a vpn to get around it.

My friend on T-mobile tried to send me https://www.monstertechusa.com/product-category/flight/chairs-seats/. We were in the same room. I could send the link to him. I am on Ting. My mom is on Verizon and she swears she sends me texts that they don't send. She sends me anti-vax stuff, so I'm not surprised.
