My take on it is that it’s more of a zombification than mind control. Some of the social media tech is more mind control. Either way, both effect seasoning and dopamine response pathways and over time can lead to conditioned responses. TV, light, sound, and temperature pulses cause a sync in neural activity which is perceived as relaxing / rewarding. The blockchain aspect suggests a more direct conscious reward ie operant conditioning being combined with the classical associative conditioning of v1.0

First patent is already obsolete, regardless of its reality, because there are no CRT TV or monitors left around today. So, instead of finding correct block content to get necessary hash value, someone have to make some exercises or take a weird pose to "sign" the block. Some sensors (like kinect f.e., or accelerometers/cameras in smartphones) should track owner movements/pose to compare it with target one. It is so stupid, that I even want this kind of crypto become real, to see a lot of sheeple who will make weird movements and take weird poses everywhere to mine some coins in spare time. It should be very funny, at least at the beginning. :) Something like PokemonGo, but many orders of magnitude funnier.
Meanwhile, you could patent some crypto ideas too, say, to sign a block and get a reward, user have to eat some shit on public, or, say, take a covid jab. Patent it and implement.
