Rittenhouse lawfully defended his own life against a bunch of pedophiles and abusers. Video evidence proves this without a doubt and it has been available from the day of the event. This trial is a fucking joke and he should be released immediately if there was any justice.

Bingo. When you have violent thugs chasing you before trying to take your gun, what other option do you have? Hope the extremely disturbed individual doesn't shoot you after taking your gun? You can't be expected to put your life in the hands of a deranged person that has already threatened to kill you.
And as for the second encounter, if you're not within your rights to shoot someone when they have a gun pointed at your head, you'll never be.

The limp-wristed (probably) lawyer for the prosecution has done nothing but bully Kyle all day. This dickhead has no morals or care for what actually is truth. Every question from him has been framed in an accusatory manner, and he won't let up. Dude doesn't realize that he's basically questioning a child about a really serious event where people died, and all he cares about is making the dude look like a hardened career criminal. Pathetic.
In Canada we basically have no self defense. You are only allowed to defend yourself with equal force/proportional force to what has already attacked you. You literally need to be murdered before you can kill the person trying to kill you. You essentially get arrested and go to jail for defending yourself whatsoever. It has been absolute clownworld here my entire life. I first became aware of this crap like 23 years ago in my teens and it only seems to get worse. The entire legal system is based around victim blaming.

By that same logic, however, you could say that people shouldn't have been out rioting, and therefore, putting themselves in danger as well. Regardless of all that, what happened happened, and no amount of shoulda coulda woulda is gonna fix that. The only outcome for this trial should be a self-defense not guilty verdict. Caving to the public idiots is not going to fix anything. That's how we got in the situation we're in right now.
