DDG is owned and run by a Democrat bootlicker. As soon as they are big enough they will crush you like all the rest.
Use Brave search.

The trust element is more important than the result quality, so maybe still a better option than DDG.

Try searching sitescroll on DuckDuckGo proper. I got it on the first result.
Better is not good.
I noticed DDG may be compromised. I'v been using Brave.
My biggest problem with Brave is the indexes are old. I often click a result to find it no longer exists.

Was noticing google type behavior from ddg over past year too - I no longer recommend it. Personally, I'm trialling yandex as my go to search engine, and pretty happy with results so far.
The site is actually called "Sitescroll" and can be found as the first result of that tag.
Skyrrison was there as admin apparently.

I get some screwball results too on various search engines. I don't see why this should necessarily be attributed to malice.
Agreed. Also try searching Soviet Russia Atrocities on Yandex and compare it to DuckDuckGo. That is real malice.
