These times should be waking everyone up to the fact that famous characters and influencers are just programmers to shape and steer the slave class. None of them are just regular people who "made it". They get your attention, then work on your subconscious.
These commie types were always doing the bidding. Just as they are now. They just never realised it back then. Too fucking stupid apparently.
It's pretty simple. Who's interested in centralising power/control (with the state). These people think big corp is the only boogeyman, and they even fail to see that "their" only boogeyman can and is infiltrating .gov. They might say F.. the rich - but that's just because they were told to. See, "the rich" is just competition. Why is Buffett always a fan of high income tax? Is it because he's a super philanthropist or is it because it's a great way for him to make sure no one else climbs the ladder very easily.
I was in high-school when Rage came along. One thing I found just as amusing now as I did back then was the kids that were into that band and wore their shirts all the time were not the metal kids, or punk kids or the alt-rock kids, etc. It was the rich preppy kids. While I can appreciate some of the stuff Tom does with his guitar, the band as a whole has always been phony poseurs that appealed to phony poseurs.
Spot on. Like fashion "punks".
Exactly.
I remember Marilyn Manson saying something once in regards to fans dressing like him. It isn't a direct quote or anything, but he said something like fans dressing like him are missing the point of his message of individualism. Even if the artist is genuine with their message, a marketing firm will capitalize on that message and sell those ideas as fashion statements. Rage my very well have started with pure intentions, but that stopped mattering very quickly.
Wasn’t the guitarist caught with a couple of underage girls?
I didn't know the guitarist was jewish.
I didn't know his father was the first Kenyan representative to the U.N.
oof
Tom is changing his guitar from "Arm the Homless" to "Vax the Homeless".
I saw them in concert way back when. They are pussies.
Jesus Christ. Time to burn the vinyl I have of theirs. Clown world.
RATM was trash from the beginning. Zach's whiney vocals were like nails on a chalkboard to my ears and I hated their sloppy stripped down sound. A shitty garage rock band with a rapper.
