Everything here checks out except the top speed of a 767 is around 566 mph... I can see it exceeding by 20mph when there is noone on board and it is flown by remote control. Because it was.
So you are denying the authenticity of this copy paste. Looks like you owe $10.
Droppin’ Hamiltons like my name Aaron Burr.
that's top speed at cruising altitude where the air is thin. top speed is substantially lower near sea level.
this is why airplanes cruise at high altitude. they would cruise lower if it were cheaper. takes less energy to fly fast up high and max speed is greater.
Good point.
In 8th grade. It was a very strange day because in my 1st hour, aerobics class, I was in the locker room and all of a sudden, (around the exact time the 1st plane hit unknowingly to me at the time) all the lights went out and it was pitch black and a bunch of girls were screaming freaking out because no one could see. Then after what seemed like a really long minute, the lights flickered back on. Then, I finished changing, the bell rang and I carried on to 2nd period English class. After 5 minutes of sitting down, our teacher turned the TV on and I remember thinking he just put on a movie for us or something. Then reality hit. Within minutes, the news was like an echo through the hallways all tuned into the same channel. Teachers outside their classrooms talking to other teachers. Kids staring at the screen in disbelief. Then we watched the 2nd plane hit live. That's when heads really started to roll and we realized our country was under attack. Within the hour, all you heard over the loud speaker was different kids leaving for early dismissal. Lots of kids with family in New York. My mom ended up picking me up early even though I didn't have family in New York just because no one was in the mindset for learning at that point. There was no point in being in school. I don't think I went to.school for the rest of the week. RIP to all the lives lost. I will never forget that day.
I was in 3rd grade or so. I was in school, and we were sent home extra early. Maybe we got picked up at around 9-10am. My family was worried because my great parents parents were boarding a flight to Russia that morning. But luckily they never had a chance to board the plane and didn't need to sit on the tarmac for several hours. After I got home, I just remember watching the news for the rest of the day. Scenes for that morning forever etched into my mind. The planes, the people falling, the people running covered in ash.
I was in 4th grade on long island. Principle came in and pulled the teacher out of the room to talk. Teacher told us the twin towers were hit with a plane and then almost everyone's parents picked them up from school except for me and 3 other kids. I remember staring at the window the rest of the day to let the teacher know if I saw any more plans. The next day we had art class and then we all got to draw our version of the towers and our pictures got displayed in the local grocery store for a few weeks. The other adults working in the school kept sharing stories about the strangest dreams people were having the night before 911
I also remember after getting home the news was non stop talking about the amazing occurance that the one plane supposed to hit the Pentagon where the people on the plane fought the jackers smashed in the ground and was the shape of a cross like it was a sign from God.
