I was in 4th grade on long island. Principle came in and pulled the teacher out of the room to talk. Teacher told us the twin towers were hit with a plane and then almost everyone's parents picked them up from school except for me and 3 other kids. I remember staring at the window the rest of the day to let the teacher know if I saw any more plans. The next day we had art class and then we all got to draw our version of the towers and our pictures got displayed in the local grocery store for a few weeks. The other adults working in the school kept sharing stories about the strangest dreams people were having the night before 911

I also remember after getting home the news was non stop talking about the amazing occurance that the one plane supposed to hit the Pentagon where the people on the plane fought the jackers smashed in the ground and was the shape of a cross like it was a sign from God.
