Everything here checks out except the top speed of a 767 is around 566 mph... I can see it exceeding by 20mph when there is noone on board and it is flown by remote control. Because it was.

that's top speed at cruising altitude where the air is thin. top speed is substantially lower near sea level.
this is why airplanes cruise at high altitude. they would cruise lower if it were cheaper. takes less energy to fly fast up high and max speed is greater.
