And not going to comply.
Option 1 will be going full remote, (which has been the case for the last year).
Option 2 will be making a religious or medical declaration, then see where the chips fall.
Found some good resources for declaration templates.
**(A good fringe radio show happened to cover this recently and had some good example templates for declaration forms and ideas if anyone is interested.) **
Maybe a list of local lawyers friendly to the cause is a next step.
Not looking for sympathy, condolences, platitudes,, etc.
But maybe sharing the experience/strategies can help.
...
Here's where I rant a bit.
Worked my ass off the last 17 years.
Overtime, call hours, patents (some simple shit tbh, and not nearly as smart as some folks on this board).
Every 5-10 years the parasite class takes the earnings and crashes the attempt at a very simple dream (family, home, stability, period).
9/11. '08 Crash. '20 currency collapse.
911, Iraq, WMDs, '08 crash partially woke me up.
But thought I could focus on working my field and filter out the rest.
'20 finished the awakening.
I don't feel like playing their game under their rules much anymore.
Not that I plan to cash out early or anything.
But rather stick around in opposition to their plans whenever the opportunity arises.

Just hold the line, this is collapsing faster than a bouncy house on the Berlin Wall in 1989. People are done! We will not tolerate another apartheid state.
maybe this is the reason behind the push at many organizations currently.
generate the most negative economic impact ahead of addt'l bad clinical data forthcoming.
Yeah when hospitals are firing 10%+ of their staff, there must not be a real problem with reduced capacity.
f#cking needed this thank you hahahaha. funniest sh#t all day.

Hold on as long as you can. Go full remote until you find something else if you feel they don't have your back. Look for something else full remote in the mean time as a backup. If you find it and think it's better, go for it. It's a lot easier to find a job while you have one, so don't say shit for now. Remember the line, it's "nice doggy, nice doggy" until you find a stick.
Just had the same talk with my bossman, but different situation, he gets I want to be full remote and while the CEO said we can come in whenever we want, we don't have to, but there may be events where the whole company is called in to come in. But likely that wont' be any time soon due to delta. But yeah, can't go in without a vaxpass and if we try we get fired. So catch-22.
For now, gonna keep it quiet and see what happens. Eventually either delta will wreak havoc or not. We'll see what Shitember will bring.
I’ve got my religious and medical exemption template ready to roll when needed too. And I completely agree with your post. I’ve been busting my ass for 16 years so very similar to you and they always try to take stability, happiness and retirement away from honest, good people who help make society function.
But stay strong. The castle is crumbling around them and they are afraid of the mounds of lawsuits and employee shortages if they keep on this path. We will persevere.
They will ask to contact your priest/pastor, etc. for validation. Be ready for that.
Maybe we should start a new Church, the NNN Church.
Yep, got that covered. It’ll either be me with a voice changing audio program, or my spouse. Lol.
That's fucked. My beliefs are sacred to me. My relationship with the God is between me and him. Why should I need anyone to validate my beliefs?
Same with vax status. It's a HIPPA violation regardless of what anyone claims an employer can demand.
Your employer does not own your physical body. Your government does not own your physical body. They might wish to, or want to exude the idea that they do, but this is false. You can only be governed with consent. Don't give it.
Best tactic, delay, delay, delay, don't answer. If they force you to come into the office and require proof, call in sick that, etc.
Meanwhile if you're working remote, chances are you can find another job where you negotiate you'll work 100% remote and avoid the whole vax thing.
for the benefit of the .01%.
I agree but for a different reason.
Plus. Your linked explanation has some logic but in the larger corps the ceos are not getting cues from the media.
Theyve pre agreed on this at the big meetings.
I suggest just say no. Giving them reasons gives them space for counter arguments.
In the real world. Just say nien.
Care to elaborate ?
I'm right about where you are. I work in healthcare and it's been mandated with little over a month until then. Really discouraging. Problem is that nearly all hospital systems and facilities have already mandated it or soon will. This nonsense has made me hate what I do.
do not sign anything but more important, do not verbally, on paper, or electronically answer yes or no to anything.
straight up play dumb.
its like a cop pulling you over and they ask questions that 1) entrap you 2) give consent for further action.
but also make sure you respond nicely. something like "i respectfully decline."
also, these asshats are only doing their job. make sure to tell'em to have a great day.

Busting your ass for your employer was where you went wrong. A better strategy is learning everything you can at one job, then hopping to a new job with that knowledge for better pay.
You also need an endgame. The stress that comes with high paid employment WILL kill you eventually.
