/r/conspiracy is a strange microcosm to the US...I think folks needed to see just how much shit would devolve without someone like me at the helm of /r/conspiracy so they would get it.
Same for Trump and the US.
They needed to be shown just how much a shit show things are when legitimate leaders are illegitimately removed.
I look forward to when the internal documents are released wr to my removal from reddit hours after Congress complained about "reddit conspiracies" on January 7.
I'm supremely confident that the order for my removal came straight from US Congress, and reddit will be implicated in the Election fraud and COVID hoax.
I do suspect you're right. There's been a lot of movement over the past 18-20 months with local and federal politics that just don't make sense - from lockdowns to election fraud - it's all so blatant and obvious and nothing ever happens.

I watched as they systematically shut down every method we used to disseminate information. They blocked images from appearing alongside our posts. They blocked links to third party image hosting sites like imgbb. They blocked links to bitchute and rumble videos and they use alts to troll everything to incite a retaliation so they can use that as a pretext for a ban.

b. Posting Nappy Nap Biden.
c. Ivermectin has been proven a save and effective treatment.
d. Jan 6th was a message for those thinking about a real insurrection
e. Biden is to blame for the 13 service members who lost their lifes.
I can't remember exactly when r/conspiracy starting being brigaded, I just know it was a bit after Reddit changed. Before 2016 Reddit was a lot more normal, and skewed more libertarian, even supporting Ron Paul a few times. However, the day after Hillary Clinton won the Democrat primary in 2016 it's like Reddit changed overnight, like a switch was flipped. It was incredible to see. There was this massive influx of bots and shills, supported by the most of the mods, admins, and execs at Reddit to push "the narrative", and that has continued ever since.
It's really funny too, because sometimes there are moments that the shills haven't gotten their updated programing, so they back off Reddit until they get their new marching orders. One such time was when Hillary passed out at the New York 9/11 memorial in 2016, which looked really bad on video, and for an entire day after the event Reddit returned back to normal and everyone was amazed with the change, but then the day afterward the shills and bots returned.
R/conspiracy used to be one of the few mid sized subreddits that was free from brigading by bots and shills, but that began to change, and it's slowly gotten worse over time, to the point that now they've almost completely taken over, and most of the genuine users have left.
