I expect in 30 years of the scamdemic, people will literally go out and kill and eat their own, and all that remains are rich elites repopulating the population with obedient effigies of us.
You misinterpreted the pyramid allegory. The foundation is always the same; it's the fall while climbing to the top that represents the self destruction.
The chain of command represents a pyramid scheme, with the many who consent to believe the suggestion of the few above them, representing the foundation of ignorance over self in exchange for adherence to others. Their climb towards progress is what then a) unifies the few above against the many below, and b) corrupts those who climb towards a goal that has no room to reside.
Meanwhile the bottom of the pyramid is being fueled by the same ignorance over and over again, always a fresh batch of the downtrodden who ignore to build their potential.
