Is Bitcoin a scam run by the energy utility monopolies? 1% of the world's power is used just to mine Bitcoins. Trump says it's a scam. Elon has condemned the waste. If Bitcoin crashes to $0, the only ones who come out ahead (besides lucky traders) are the energy companies. (www.thebalance.com) Speculation

It's a scam alright but a complicated one.

Its purpose is to popularize digital money, in preparation of the universal digital shekel and it's also a small way to clean the books.

By cleaning the books I mean when it reaches a value of zero after it has reached a million, it will be a nice way to eliminate some trillion dollars or whatever amount off the monetary system which was inflated with printing excess money and additionally buy up real assets and properties with that money at some point.

The process creates large amounts of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, methane, and ozone. These allow sunlight to enter the Earth's atmosphere, but then trap the heat. So, the more electricity produced, the hotter the planet gets.

Stopped reading right there. I can't take anyone who spouts this nonsense seriously.

I get it, but someone can be wrong about one thing and not wrong about another.

True, my bad. My only excuse is that the whole global warming scam just gets my back up.

So, you are claiming people have to be either completely right about everything or completely wrong about everything? I think you are overthinking it.

Of course people can wrong about one thing and not wrong about another.

It's not called cognitive infiltration, it's called being human.

1% doesn't make that much of a difference to them. It's not the energy companies. Musk is a globalist and Trump chose a time when globalists shaved off part of its value to shave off a little more. The globalists are condemning it at the same time for some reason.

In the energy market, 1% is exactly 745 gorillajizzillion dollars.

In the energy market, 1% is a small part of what is lost through inefficiency.

Yeah, and it's still 745 gorillajizzillion dollars.

Nope.

That’s just bunch of nonsense and if you really dug into Bitcoin you’d know that.

It’s the biggest threat to governing powers since the internet and they will do everything they can to smear it while systematically buying it up only to capitulate later because they can’t defeat it.

Anyone telling you otherwise is a moron and doesn’t get Bitcoin. Do your own research and you’ll see why. Decentralization is the enemy of the NWO.

Why do you think they can't defeat it?

Can't each country just ban its use among their citizens and/or territories?

Nope. It’s decentralized and operates outside of their control mechanism.

Hell you can do transactions via ham radio if you really wanted to, alittle complicated but you can do it

If govts decide to crack down, won't most opportunities to use it evaporate?

Won't the govts be able to read teh blockchain and watch it get built and be able to decode who is spending what?

I don't get how a currency tech which is supposed to provide an indelible record of every transaction involved can manage to maintain user anonymity simultaneously.

You can't pass a law to un-invent shit. Guns are easily available everywhere, despite gun control laws. Child porn is the same way.

A crackdown would limit crypto, and people would use it with private keys on their phone.

Also the power usage is because mining a block gives you ~$300k, which pays for the electricity.

In 10 years mining a block will only be worth $75k at today's valuation, in 20 years only $10k because the value of the blocks cuts in half every so often.

Basically the bitcoin energy problem will solve itself in a short while unless it explodes in value. So bitcoin shooting up is the thing the globalists care about - not the environment - and that's because if you can park your money in bitcoin and even have it grow in value they can't steal it through devaluation and money printing.
