I think the cooling your are referring to was when Tambora erupted. It caused a couple of years with no summers.
Homo Sapiens have only been on the planet for 300k years. Of that recorded history only goes back about 9k bce with Gobekli Tepe and that would be a stretch.
I don't think there is enough actual recorded history to quantify anything other than probably the end of the ICE age.
