All that needs to be done is consider the light coming from the sun is not behaving exactly as it was theorized to blow all of the globe math out of the water. The truth is we cannot go to the sun, in fact we cannot even leave earths atmosphere. If you disagree show me one legitimate photo of earth from space. Hint there is none. So you can only assume the suns light behaves the way that it was theorized a Millennia of years ago with simple tools, whilst the evidence piles up on the other side that the earth is indeed not spherical.

There is literally no motive to fake round earth if it was flat. Do you know how many people have circumnavigated the earth on their own boat? 10's of thousands. Do you think at least ONE of these sailors would have actual evidence of a flat earth? The ego boost they would get for being the most famous person on earth for bringing this evidence to light would be so tempting there would be no way to stop them -especially in today's Twitter / Youtube world. There is distortion in everything including lenses, windows, the air and your eyes. So if you measure anything and just assume no distortion you will be wrong. You need to measure the distortion and remove it with some model or error map or at least estimate it and adjust the confidence interval of your measurements.
