Swiss voters narrowly approved on Sunday a proposal to ban face coverings, both the niqabs and burqas worn by a few Muslim women in the country and the ski masks and bandannas used by protesters.
It foresees exceptions at religious sites and for security or health reasons, such as face masks people are wearing now to protect against COVID-19
I would have banned them as well. They don't promote unity and integration. They promote segregation. When did Islam even start wearing them? It is a newer trend. It is no where in the Koran. Sure if you are in the desert and you need to keep the sand out of your face. A religious clothing. No. A marital ritual perhaps. Later adopted into worship.
However I don't agree with banning them on protesters.They are protesting. The other motivation and dystopia behind them is simple surveillance, facial recognition. Switzerland likely wants to put up everywhere. Easier to use an excuse while ultimately selling poison.
No. I don't agree. When everybody in your nation doesn't wear them. Why are there some people using them to make a statement. In private worship fine. Otherwise integrate. It is written into the Koran, when in Rome. Respect is mutual. There is no respect for somebody dressing like that, they culturally lack respect, on the other shoe obey the national laws. Instead they have imposed on another's nature. It is ridiculous. It is archaic logic. It is not religious scripture. It became converted into religion as an excuse, for both guardianship and marital status, because it lacks trust.

on the one hand, i see some clear security reasons to ban all masks.
but i figure: that's like banning guns (i.e., only criminals will have them).

conclusions: allow all voluntary face coverings. ban all mandated face coverings (i.e., cults can't force people to wear masks by decree).
