Isn't the Russian Sputnik V vaccine similar to the J&J vax?
Yes, they are similar, if J&J vaccine made using adenovirus vector to produce spike protein. They don't do anything with human DNA. It is adenovirus without an ability to reproduce itself in human cells, instead, when it get into a human cell it force a cell to produce a SARS-Cov-2 spike protein. At least, something that encoded as spike protein in published RNA sequence that was obtained only by computer modelling in China. In any case it is a bad idea, even it does not harm human DNA. Gamaleya institute, who developed Sputnik V vaccine, works on that type of vaccines over a decade, but without any success. They developed vaccines of that type for SARS, MERS and Ebola, and tried to sell them over the world, but none of them was certified, or proven effective. Sputnik V is different from previous ones only by hype and bias in MSM, nothing more.
However, I heard earlier, that J&J is developing "classic" vaccine, from deactivated virus or its parts. Seems that they failed to find a source for pure SARS-Cov-2 virus, that never was isolated :)

Vitamin D naturally synthesizing in human body under direct sunlight and take part in protection of human body against respiratory and other viruses. Lack of vitamin D is one of causes of seasonal flu phenomena. Too little sun at winter. Along with overcooling, drenching and draughts you get broken immune system. You also can't get enough direct sunlight in lockdown. That's it.
