Also another one where people were essentially put into a caste based on how long they were willing to wait for a clock to countdown. They only did a few, and then never again. I think these were demonstrations and data collection for Reddit to show the potential it had for influencing people's beliefs and behaviors.
Those, and Facebook manipulating the emotional content of people’s newsfeeds (group a gets fed stories about dead puppies and group b gets fed trump stories) to gauge its effects on what they post.
