Perhaps you are combining the tribulation with the millennial kingdom? Many will be persecuted for free will and obedience to God vs obedience to the world and its bondage during the tribulation period before the millennial kingdom.
I think you may have some things twisted. The demon known as satan and the devil demons that follow that entity will be thrown in hell (which was created for them) and await the lake of fire after the millennial kingdom, just the one.
Jesus Christ will be back on earth, in His imperishable flesh and He will reign, with His bride (the church) and all people will learn how to live again.
