She's the wife of a pastor in Edmonton. She did fly to Dallas for work.
HOWEVER... in Dallas, she was not given a PCR Covid test, she was given a Rapid Antigen Test - not what any government requires.
So there you go fear mongers. The story IS partly true, but there IS a reason for it. This woman was not detained for no reason, she basically didn't have a negative Covid test upon arriving. Every country has stuff like this in place.
No conspiracy here, folks. Just someone didn't have their proof of negative test. This IS going to be the norm for travel. Nothing out of the ordinary.

There's NO military anywhere roaming the streets. Quebec tried a curfew, nobody else has even mentioned it.

Spas, gyms, movie theatres, and bowling alleys, those are the only businesses in Canada that have HAD to close per government request.
Planes aren't ever fully filled, though, not even close. Planes are filled with just about the exact amount of fuel they need for each flight ; refuelled at landing point.

Who's the wife? Why's she working in the States, and who for? I know a lot of big world wide businesses have head offices for Canada in Calgary, so it's possible she was travelling for a straight office work job. Police aren't the enforcers for this either, they aren't even the ones who issue violation tickets, so I'm not too sure on this part. Police only get involved if they are called : ie, won't wear mask in a store, won't leave, causing a scene. In my province, there's been a FEW times, recently, folks have been protesting across the street from the Premier's house, no masks, no social distancing, no cops, nobody's been arrested. Not saying this isn't true to some level, but the last two points I've made are how it is in Canada. Cops aren't rounding people up at all.

In Canada, our border has been closed between the US since before Xmas. We've *had *a fairly strict out of country travel thing going. Quite sure there was an actual 'no flights at all into Canada' for a bit. That got relaxed though for international business yadda yadda.

Let's say with an engine fail / fire there would be smoke and fire blocking the FULL view of said craft and it fell from the sky. So a boomerang shaped object you could only see half of, would actually look like what...a 'flying saucer'.
Another easy assumption is say the engine fail took place on a turn = sending the aircraft in an undesired direction.
Locals see a "plane" coming down from the sky on fire ; you'd see that from quite a ways away. As it gets closer, it doesn't look like a regular airplane. Upon arriving at the crash site, we have people who are looking at something they'd never seen before.
