Can we quit using the word democracy? It's just a fancy way of saying mob-rule. Democracy means they get to stay in power. We are a Republic anyway, so how is promoting democracy not a crime? Wouldn't that serve to undermine the government as it was intended and the people at large.

I saw the argument that Christians had said no-no to cleaning and using helpful herbs but I am at a fucking loss as it is biblical to keep ones self clean (bathing is promoted) and it is also suggested that herbs are specifically to heal the nations. So to blame this on Christians.... Perhaps they too hadn't read the book.
The way that I have come to understand it is that DNA cannot be patented. They have tried to do this in the past but DNA was deemed natural and therefore could not be patented. However, genomes can be if they are determined to not exist naturally. So if they could get you with something that changes genome expression enough to be considered altered they can indeed file a claim for that.
Another method of getting people to forego their God given rights is to get them to disavow God. If you do not believe in God then you do not believe in the being that gave you your rights.
