They even reject independent verification by people who have sent cameras up on home built rockets into near LEO: one particular example where the stock wide-angle lens was removed from the camera due to the distortion it does to the image, and replaced by a lens that greatly reduces distortion, and the footage clearly shows the curve developing towards the end of the footage. That is rejected by FEers as a lie without evidence to back up that statement. Your defense of their ideas is profoundly misplaced. Also:

This is exactly what I mean. How does any of that demonstrate FE? You are simply saying FE is the big con behind everything. Without evidence, theory, about why and how that is, how it's done. FE people say something is true, without any explanation or attempt to support it. And then call people liars and idiots when they point that out.
I would want to be led away from FE back into reality, personally, if I was tempted down that route. One thing that might do it for me is a discussion post like this and the topic being banned for the betterment of the forum.
It's not difficult. A post made claiming the earth is flat, or saying some particular phenomenon is evidence or proof the earth is flat, gets removed. Were they to only to describe said anomaly without concluding FE, the post would remain. FE= earth flat, dome, tiny sun and moon on wires, all that crap. Fe posts are obvious as hell, there is no nuance.

So using those examples to support it makes people doubt those topics. That is why FE is toxic.
