I don't see common core as being evil (at least for math). It's an extremely good idea that has been abused.
Bright Math teachers: We don't need books to teach elementary math. We can teach math with every day objects. Lets create a set of standards that other teachers can emulate.
Book Publishers: We are about to lose a shit ton of money if this gains traction. Instead, lets update our books for common core and instead of losing a shit ton of money, we will gain it.
Mods opened up the logs.
Lol, fits me to a T.
I stopped using Gillett because of anti Male ads. Cancelled Costco due to mask requirements and their condescending attitude toward those that canceled due to mask requirements. Gave up coke for lent, and will try to make it permanent ( I typically drink 1 a day)
I would like to see:
- Repeal and replace the 19th. Split the house into two. Each sex gets their own house. Make it a Tricameral Legislature. Only men can vote for the men's house, and only women may vote in the women's house.
- Article in the first ratified at 50k citizens per representative (and split according to sex). This would be 6500+ congressmen currently and increasing each year. Force them all to live in their district, and work remotely.
- Repeal the 17th.
If you follow the earths orbit around the sun, it creates an ellipse. If you in the ellipse, it will create a flat planar surface. You can do the same thing for the moon as it revolves around the earth. Both the earth's orbit around the sun, and the moons orbit around the earth are located in the same plane. This is logical.
The earth has a tilt to it, which stays relatively consistent for a long period of time (several thousand years). New moons, are located on the side closest to the sun. These would rise and fall in the same spots as the sun does. Full moons are on the side furthest from the sun. These would rise and fall as if it was the opposite time of year.
It makes perfect sense. FYI, all solar objects are roughly in the same plane. They will all rise and fall along the same path that the sun makes (but this changes depending on the time of year, and location of the other object in relation to earth and the sun). Currently Saturn / Jupiter are very low on the horizon (similar to the sun in winter). If you wait a few years, they will be very high on the horizon (similar to the sun in summer).
