I don't think you understand what a short squeeze is about: any short stock of a company that is not forced into bankruptcy will rise when the short position is closed. Shorts are short term bets and short squeezes are medium term bets. That's where the phrase "diamond hands" comes in: never sell mid squeeze because the pay off comes longer term.
