No, I get what you mean... it went from simmer to boil on Nov 4. I was up watching the ballots roll up in the middle of the night, and went to r/conspiracy to comment. Crickets, and "rule 9" bans for those who spoke out. I waited for the dust to settle and tried again, only to realize based on the astroturf comments that the sub was gone. It was as bad as r/politics the day Clinton stole the nom.

Over at thedonald, they put the banhammer for those who aren't Trump supporters and that keeps out the bad actors. I don't know what the equivalent would be for this space. "No shills" rule, perhaps, but I wouldn't mind strict rules here too. It's a shame because I believe wholeheartedly in freedom of speech but that's been heavily exploited to bring in bots, shills, wrongthink campaigns, etc.

Yes. My local major city subreddit (in a red state, no less) had the BLM fist and I was downvoted HARD for calling the Patriot Group they were so afraid of as an FBI honeypot.
