World domination is an intrinsic part of communism. Marxist theory is very clear on this: class warfare can only succeed globally. The fact that the USSR collapsed, in large part due to Soviet citizens envying the West's higher standards of living, also proved Marx right.

I don't fully agree with the diagram in the OP but it is a fact that since its creation the USSR was trying to subvert every other country and have communist revolutions everywhere. With the Comintern, for example. Or with professional revolutionaries, like for example Karl Radek who participated to both the Russian and the (failed) German communist revolution. The express purpose of the Bolsheviks was to conquer the entire planet.

What you can argue is however that the Frankfurt School was not ideologically aligned with communism, and therefore didn't receive support from the USSR.
