Haven't cared about tax dollars since 2017 when we passed the rubicon to ever be able to even pay the interest.

In the inflationary meantime I give a lot of fucks about the WEEKLY increase on my health insurance from $407 to $639. They didn't tell me, so I didn't opt out before the end of open enrollment. Got a nice surprise on my first 2022 paycheck. Gotta work five extra hours every week to break even now. So glad remdesivir and ventilators were able to save so many lives. 🤔

duckduckgo search, "has 50% of ottawa police resigned?" returns 1 AP thread saying no, and 10 more alt sites repeating the same copy-paste text before results devolve. Conjecture so far.

God I wish train whistles were more readily available.

Turbo whistles are relatively cheap and available though. 😎

I've always joked he's one cleaning product short of being gay. He has other qualities, attentive father, handsome, good in bed, jars, heavy things. My son at 5 yo, regurgitated the phase, "Mommy loves Daddy more than money".

I tried this topic with my husband the other day. He said, "All my FB friends are vaxxed, and none of them have died. I don't believe the numbers you're saying." I just shook my head and walked away. At least I convinced him to stay pureblooded by offering divorce if he did.

There was once a day, about 1990, when Walmart's SLOGAN was 100% Made in USA. They sold guns and ammo before Rosie REEEEE! O'donnell came out of the closet and bitched too. I remember watching her stand-up when she had long hair and was dating men.

Like the snow shoveling thread, and eating too hot a pepper, this isn't new. What will be new is the increase in incidents because of being proned. The magic number of red bull, in 1996, was 4 in quick succession.

Are you talking about people outside of the US? Blood donation in the US has been tested since the 80s. One could conceive a very few people got exposed through accident, eg policeman stuck during a search.

Fiat inflationary Bitcoin deflationary

Depends on how long one wants to hold it I suppose. The faith in fiat is much more erroneously placed than faith in crypto, which is different from digital currency. Be sure not to confuse the fundamentals.

I have an aunt who said she didn't want to hold Bitcoin because it was used in drugs and trafficking. I asked her how much more dollars were used.

"Jamie Dimon says Bitcoin is a fraud".

They've been bearish since $69,420. Lately they're saying it's gonna crash with the stock market when the Fed raises interest rates. Truth is, the market follows Bitcoin, and Bitcoin runs on 4-year cycles around the halving events. Buy more while it's on sale, sell on the next high-cycle after 2024, then do it all again.

They did that in a number of places with drug testing. They all found that it was costing way more in testing than they were saving in benefits.

Do we really want to give politicians more ideas on how to increase authoritative control and throw-away administrative costs paid by the taxpayer?
