The NHS is being ripped off by everyone. There is a huge markup on medical equipment, from a cotton bud to a huge nuclear scanner.
Also from agency nurses and doctors, the agencies charge a lot to supply the NHS, these characters are useless and uncaring.
As for not getting any service, this is only true for the past 2 years or so, before then it was very good service.
A lot of breweries have said they won't do this, Shepheard Neame, Young's of Wandsworth and Brains say no, i don't know any other breweries who won't comply.
The pubs that ask for phones will lose custom, the pubs that don't ask will do a roaring trade. If the government has to subsidise the compliant pubs they will become nationalised, a government pub!
