God’s word is intended to trap those with scornful hearts. This is one of the ways you can discern the Kenneth Copelands from the David Wilkersons.

“But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭28:13‬ ‭

It’s hard to communicate tone through text, so please hear me with gentleness.

You’re confusing (along with most of Christendom) the ‘gospel of the kingdom’ (Matt 1:14) that Yeshua preached, with the ‘gospel of the grace of God’ (Acts 20:24) that was given to Paul, apostle to the Gentiles.

This is not a matter of interpretation. If you check out this list you’ll see that the two gospels cannot be the same thing:

You actually touched on exactly why the ‘gospel‘ preached by 95% of Christianity today is not ‘good news’. It is not ‘good news’ to be told you must immediately stop sinning and live a pious and righteous life. That is placing people under the law and it is a burden no one but Christ could bear.

And to address your last point, Paul deals with this exact issue in Romans 6. “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?” Many accused him of being antinomial as well.

Friend. Christ didn’t die so you would stop sinning. He didn’t die so you would know right from wrong. He didn’t die so you would live a moral life.

He died to have you back, because he loves you.

Thanks for this post, I was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer and have already had the right one out and currently halfway through chemo.

I wish I could read a post like this but about cancer, because I’m having a lot of the same revelations as you about the medical care being about creating customers, not cures.

Also something seems off to me about the treatments for cancer, and how to avoid it. But everyone seems to have their theory it’s hard to see the truth
