There's also the works of Gurdjieff, who was brilliant and one of a tiny handful of actually enlightened people on Earth. His stuff is a treasure trove that I would recommend over almost every source of wisdom I've came across.

I would have said the same thing 8 years ago. I was a die-hard Christian. But we learn, progress, and evolve. It was an important formative part of my journey.. but you won't find the truth there.
