Yes, actually, I do agree that possibly with the first 'wave', or in some orchestrated manner, placebos were issued to provide that appearance of 'this vaccine has no issues', and turn people into 'true believers' to push it.
It could also be a mixture of that point, and having a control group, and just to say I'm speculating on this one, since I feel were are somewhat in a 'fog of war', until more information can be attained.
I don't know why, yet I feel that their time is running out, and they can only keep the lid on their old paradigm (US Petro-Dollar), for so long, and they have to get to the 'finish line' of the transition from this old paradigm to the new one.
However, the tricky part is for them to dodge the blame while distracting the public; yet bit by bit, it does appear this is not holding up that well. When the curtain gets pulled back a bit more, they get more desperate and double-down because they have no other option; yet this in turn has that potential 'backfiring' effect; or a 'Catch-22', per se.
Definitely a high possibility.
When resources run slim, and people are trying survive, human beings can get tribalistic quite fast.
This has already been shown in their manipulation of dividing up the US across these lines already.
Just look at the newest one, 'vaccinated vs unvaccinated'.

Allow me to play the role of Devil's Advocate.
I highly suspect they already planned to have a control group via giving out placebo shots (saline), and there has been reports of this.
Additionally, I suspect they already knew a sizable portion of the populace would remain unvaccinated, and would quit their jobs en masse, which partially is contributing to the supply chain issues (shipping, railroad, air, etc)
In addition, they know that the short, mid, and long-term effects will take out even more people, which will have a major impact on the economy.
Why?
They want chaos, and out of that chaos they plan on bringing their own 'order'.
Once more and more people and children are severely affected, they'll have the Big Tech platforms/MSM switch from suppressing to highlighting these issues, and there will be an outpouring of anger, and rage on a scale never seen before.
The question though will be where will that anger and rage be channeled?
Just look at 9/11, and the outpouring of anger/rage they manipulated towards a costly 'War on Terror'.
They have many goals out of this; yet the main issue they have is that they're showing their 'hidden' hand far more now out of desperation to get to the finish line; and this is actually waking more, and more people up, who would have never otherwise been aware.
'Brandon' and company are just the fall guys for an even longer plan.
It's the 'Long Con', and always has been, going across generations.

I definitely agree, yet just taking a step back and observing what's playing out, I've noticed even controlled MSM and Saturday Night Live starting to slightly go against Biden and Fauci, along with everyone focusing on the people they know.
The main issue, and has been is the people that are not seen, such as the CFR, Club of Rome, Global Bankers, and so forth. To them, I would surmise, that Biden and company are just cannon fodder to play a role and take the fallout, for a possibly longer term plan.
The main goal, amongst others, is to possibly reset the global economy over to the digital CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency), just look it up. This would be replace the current failing fiat dollar system; along with them avoid the blame for the problems that would come with a major economic transition.
Layers and layers of manipulation; yet a great resource I would recommend is Catherine Austin Fitts, she covers the financial aspects quite well, and it makes a lot more sense as to why the current situation is happening.
TPTB love you for pushing more hate divisiveness, they even planned on it.
You can feel vindicated all you want to make you feel special; yet you will never have the numbers to go up agains the TPTB without vaccinated people.

The problem is corporations gleefully hopped on ahead of time to weed out 'non-compliant' personnel, and have a convenient scapegoat in Biden. That's corporate America for you.
Then you have the public sector where the mandate is quite real, and most do not have the luxury of protesting, except those in unions, or the ones that paid off Biden and Newsom, such as the Postal Workers Union, and Prison Guards Union in California, which shows it's purely politically-driven, amongst other goals.
It could be ruled out at the higher courts; but by then, the damage has been done.
I think it's only going to stop once people and their children begin dieing in the streets and at schools, due to the heart-related/blod clot-related issues that can appear shortly thereafter; or up to few years later.
By then , again the damage has already been done, and then the public's outrage and anger will be manipulated, like it was after 9/11.
They're still making bank from overcharging the government for each shot, based on taxpayer money.

Their immune systems haven't even developed, and the vaccines are still in the experimental phase.
There's even been cases of 'accidental' switching of the flu shot with the covid shot with some children.
I'm afraid it's going to get much worse, and be too late for many parents who do mental gymnastics to just accept this.
Hopefully, that's all it is; yet we'll certainly see with the public's anger comes to a boil.
The signs are already showing.
First, I would suspect profit incentives, just look at the increase in Big Pharma stock, and new 'billionaire' Big Pharma CEO's. The wealth that has been gained is by the Executive level, along with the major shareholders of the stock.
Even half of Congress has increased ownership in Big Pharma stock.
Greed is a powerful motivator.
For the lower levels, the question is how much do they truly know, along with the fact they probably signed NDA's, or else their livelihoods are gone, within the Big Pharma corpo structure.
Then there's the tight grip on media (and has been), and now even more so with the Medical sector. I've heard they have told doctors to limit how many medical exceptions they give out, along with potential threats of Doctors losing their licenses.
Except for those that stood up, and were pushed out after they were used during the initial phase of the 'pandemic'; the entire structure is complicit in this roll-out whether by conscious choice or not, and I hate to say that.
Fair assessment, I'm on the fence myself.
Purely as a though experiment, I have tried to imagine what it would be like for droves of people, including children to start having mid to long term serious effects from these experimental injections, and the outrage that woud pour out, when the controlled media could no longer keep a lid on it; or they're ordered to start covering it.
How that pure, raw anger would be channeled and manipulated is the question.
It was done before right after 9/11, with a 20 year long perpetual war and nothing to show for it, except trillions in dollars of costs to the US, American blood shed (amongst other countries civilians); and reports of Chinese military already landing at Baghram Air Base, right after the US withdrawl.
Well, look at how polarized and divided the populace has become.
There are parents even okay with having an experimental vaccine forced on their children, whose immune systems haven't even developed.
Big Pharma companies overcharge the government for each shot (taxpayer money), while half of Congress owns Big Pharma stock.
If you're too busy cheering 'Let's go Brandon', instead of focusing on whose behind 'Brandon', having him rubber stamp everything and cutting off his mic, it might just be a real possibility.
Think about it though, they want you to focus on 'Brandon' and company; yet there might be a far greater aim behind the scenes.
Thankfully we still have US States standing up to this.
