There are telescopes on this rock that can look back into the past for zillions of years, pretty clearly, too. Why cannot those telescopes be turned towards the moon and have a looksee at the Apollo moon landing sites just to verify if we've ever been there or not. Then simply show the pics to the world and let us come up with our own conclusions. This isn't hard, it just takes someone willing to turn their telescope towards the moona on a clear night and snap a few pictures, or maybe take a motion picture.

Since we can see very large things that are very far away, why can't we see very small things that are only a little far away?

Honestly, I suppose it is in some way conceivable that the moon landing was faked, but this is why no one takes most of the theories seriously. If you want to know why no one is photographing the Apollo landing sites from earth, just think through what it would look like.

I guess you may dispute the official numbers anyway, but sticking with those the moon is claimed to be 240,000 miles away. That means that even with a 200x magnification telescope, the surface of the moon will look like it is 1200 miles away. Approximating the lunar lander as about the size of a bus, can you see a bus with the naked eye from 1200 miles away? How about an approximately 3 foot American flag?

To be fair, I see "deboonkers" in these moon debates claiming all the time that you can see the Apollo landing sites from the earth and even with consumer grade telescopes it seems! When I see this, I never see moon hoaxers point out that this is clearly impossible. This is just further proof that all science debates in internet conspiracy corners (shape of the earth, space programs, particle accelerators, zero point energy, perpetual motion machines) are retarded. The "conspiracy theories" are all retarded and the "believe science deboonkers" are all retarded (although in this case they are correct).
