They started pushing the Ebola again, but I don't think it will stick. I'm thinking rabies is one that may get people scared. We know they're looking for a reason to lock it all down.

I wonder how they would work this out.
Can only mammals carry rabies and it only be transferred from a bite? The easiest disease transmission to humans, I think, would be bugs like mosquitos or ticks but I don't know what all diseases they can sustain.
Or.. Can rabies be engineered to be air borne person to person? We would literally be living in resident evil, if so..
Airborne rabies would be a global mass extinction event for mammals in general, hopefully nobody's stupid enough to make that. The regular type wouldn't work for this because it's easily treated as long as you take action immediately after being bitten by a suspicious animal. It'll be some other virus rolled out for the next lockdown attempt, maybe another "super flu".
Yeah, that would be wild. When I hear rabies these days, I think about how they used a nonlethal version of the disease along with psilocybin to rewire the brain: https://news.cornell.edu/stories/2025/12/dose-psilocybin-dash-rabies-point-treatment-depression

Added you because I previously mentioned this and finally went to look for details
It's wild the things that they come up with. I could see a valid therapy use, but we know that's just the part they'll tell us about. Evil people behind the scenes always get wicked ideas
Yep, same ol'song
