That's right... Gold is used in electronics, such as computer processors, connectors, televisions, gaming consoles, printers, and essentially anything electronic.
Gold has value because it's basically unique. It's almost completely unreactive so found in it's natural form, it doesn't oxidize or spoil. It keeps forever, and it also rare enough where you don't need to hold 20 tonnes to be worth anything. Platinum also has similar qualities and is a similar price.
Gold can be found in everyday items like books, colored glass, and embroidered clothing. It can also be found in jewelry and dishes with gold rims.
