Jesus acknowledged that the Jews were the descendants of Abraham, but that they weren’t the “children of Abraham” or the “children of God” anymore, but the “children of the devil”. Since Abraham is not their father, but the devil is, the promises that God gave to Abraham of those blessing Abrahams children being blessed does not apply to the Jews. They rejected Christ and are the children of the devil and not Abraham.
In John 8:37 Jesus said “I know you are Abraham’s descendants”.
in vs. 38, “If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you would[c] do what Abraham did.”
In vs 42, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God.
In vs 44, “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires.“

Paul in Galatians 4:24-31 said the Jews were the children of Ishmael and the covenant to follow the Jewish laws and inherit Jerusalem is not from God anymore. It is of the flesh, and will bring Gods wrath. That we should get rid of the freshly covenant of Ishmael because it’s not from God. Meanwhile Christians are the true children of the promise and inhabit Jerusalem in heaven that the Jews don’t have.
Paul also said in Romans 2 that you could only be a true Jew by trusting in Jesus. Paul also said there is no “ethnic” difference between us in Christ.
In Matthew 24:33-46, Jesus said in a parable that the Jews would kill the son of God and then the kingdom of God would be taken away from the Jews and given to the gentiles.
The old covenant is now of the flesh and will bring Gods wrath. Israel isn’t given to the jews anymore. God does not care about earthly Jerusalem, laws, or ethnicity anymore, The children of Abraham now inherit Jerusalem, which is in heaven.
Galatians 4:24-31:
These things are illustrations, for the women represent the two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai and bears children into slavery—this is Hagar. Now Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children. But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother. For it is written:
Rejoice, childless woman,
who does not give birth.
Burst into song and shout,
you who are not in labor,
for the children of the desolate are many,
more numerous than those. of the woman who has a husband.
Isaiah 54
Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. But just as then the child born according to the flesh persecuted the one born according to the Spirit, so also now. But what does the Scripture say?
Drive out the slave and her son, for the son of the slave will never be a coheir with the son of the free woman.
Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave but of the free woman.

Revelation 21:2-4
I also saw the Holy City, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.
Then I heard a loud voice from the throne:
Look! God’s dwelling is with humanity,
and He will live with them.
They will be His people,
and God Himself will be with them. and be their God.
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will no longer exist;
grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer, because the previous things have passed away.
Me: The children of Christ will be in the city that is to be Holy because the Holy One brings it down to them, just like He did of Himself, that is interesting.
