The Taxil hoax[2]is an alleged 1890‘s hoax of exposure by Léo Taxil intended to mock not only Freemasonry, but also the Roman Catholic Church‘s opposition to it.I say alleged, because as I already have pointed out, I believe the Taxil hoax could easily have been a ̳red-herring‘ created by the Freemasons or by those within the Catholic Church, i.e. the Jesuits whom taught and brought up Taxil since a 5 year old child.
