The conspiracy here is simple.
Doing this causes people to assume that the tech isn't that good.... yet.
In truth, the tech is 100 years advanced beyond what we see out there. AI has existed for decades. They just set it up this way so people assume the current technology isn't that good so they never realize how much tech they actually have.
All this started with Atlantian tech. The group that maintained it after the downfall decided to enslave humanity with it.
MIT had courses on algorithms for AI back in the 90's. We studied AI in the 80's, but most of that was regarding understanding how the brain categorized information. Wasn't well understood back then, but good theories were being taught. Well programmed AI doesn't get caught in a localized high or low and can use outliers to refine the algorithm
Yeah, I programmed a large language model in the 80s based on the Scientific American article and the AI revelations of Godel, Escher, Bach. The vogue term for AI was "expert systems". Now I'm like, oh, the public use of the tech is only about 40 years after the development, that's actually a lot faster than the Picturephone.
Can you explain in more detail? What was this AI you programmed able to do? Was it able to do the same thing as AI today?
