There's only one thing in-between left and right...free will of choice. Choosing either establishes conflict among both. There's no conflict in-between left and right within nature...only balance for choice to adapt to.

Nature dominates, which gives being free will of choice...that's free-dom aka freely choosing within a dominating balance. A child choosing to stand up and walk represents balancing; others tempting a child to choose one side over another (yes over no; good over bad; true over false; do over don't etc.)...that's the domestication of free will of choice into imbalance.
Choosing any side over another, instead of balancing in-between...binds free will of choice into a lifelong conflict internally (logic) and externally (reason).
