These large tech outages are the inevitable rot that happens after hiring so many jeets. It's part of the planned demolition of the West, not a dry run.
Also, intentionally shooting at transformers and not taking any out sounds like BS. If anything punches a hole near the bottom of one of those things and the oil leaks out, it's done.
We just had an antenna shot with a rifle that took TV offline for hours. It was a big deal to replace and no perp was ever found.
