Why would you let tradition and people in funny hats keep you away from the real Jesus? What could be more important? Social acceptance? Family acceptance? Personal pride? Unfortunately that cannot take priority.
You don't follow the real Jesus whatever that means. You broke apart from His Church to follow a heretic. You don't believe in the real presence of Chris in the Eucharist. You worship His killers. You deny the successors of Pope St Peter who was made Pobe by Jesus himself. Neither you believe in the apostolical succession of bishops again established by Jesus.
